VMU Career Centre Invites You to the Informal Seminar Series “Towards Yourself’26: AI Together, Not Instead of You”

2026-02-24, Valid until

Vytautas Magnus University Career Centre invites students, alumni, and the entire university community throughout the month of March to participate in the online informal seminar series “Towards Yourself ’26” and to take advantage of the virtual “CV Clinic.”

This year’s theme – “Towards Yourself ’26: AI Together, Not Instead of You” – encourages participants to see artificial intelligence not as a threat or a replacement, but as a tool that strengthens your abilities and helps you purposefully build your career. In a rapidly changing job market, AI is already influencing recruitment processes, daily tasks, and decision-making. The key question is: how can you remain conscious, critically thinking, and competitive in the age of technology?

During the seminars, we will discuss how AI is transforming studies and the labour market, how to apply it responsibly, and what risks arise from overreliance on automated decisions. At the same time, we will focus on strengthening critical thinking and the ability to evaluate information generated by AI. We will also explore uniquely human strengths that AI cannot replace — such as soft skills, emotional intelligence, and authentic self-presentation — because, while technology can support you, the decisions and direction ultimately remain in your hands.

You can register for the seminars here.
