Call for Applications: Virtual Study Exchange Opportunity in Germany

2020-09-11, Valid until

Justus Liebig University Giessen (JLU) offers “Virtual International Programme” (VIP) for international students interested in a virtual exchange experience at JLU during the winter term 2020/21. Students are welcome to apply until September 15, 2020! Please be assured that this programme constitutes an additional offer and is not meant to replace physical exchange at our university during the upcoming winter semester where possible.

The VIP invites international students from JLU partner universities around the world to undergo a virtual exchange stay at JLU and to gain international study experience as complement of their studies in their home countries. International students get to choose one or more seminars and lectures from a varied study catalogue, taught completely online. This offer includes around 60 online courses from different JLU departments at undergraduate and graduate level, held in German, English, French and Spanish language. As the offer is part of the regular JLU curriculum, international students enrolled will benefit from an international learning environment.

In addition to the specialized courses, VIP offers interdisciplinary online courses and online German language courses. Upon successful completion of the virtual exchange semester, international students will receive a Transcript of Records with credit points from JLU. The participation in the “Virtual International Programme” at JLU is free of charge for students from our partner universities.

Students are able to apply for the programme until September 15, 2020. The courses start in the first week of November 2020. For further information about the course offer and the application process, please visit www.uni-giessen.de/vip.
